Welcome to Sacred Heart Primary School Teddington

    Sacred Heart School

Sacred Heart School is a single form entry, voluntary aided Catholic Primary school. It has 30 places in Reception, 26 in Nursery and is situated in the heart of Teddington. Catholic spirituality is central to every aspect of school life and our pupils grow and develop in God's love.

Sacred Heart school also warmly welcomes families of other faiths and none. We want everyone to feel they belong at our school and all our families say we wholeheartedly ensure this is the case as do Ofsted.

Sacred Heart School serves all the Catholic parishes in the area. These include but can extend beyond Sacred Heart (Teddington), St Francis de Sales (Hampton Hill), Church of St James (Twickenham), St Theodore's (Hampton) and St Margaret's (East Twickenham). Applications are warmly invited from Catholic families in surrounding parishes.

In recent years, the school has been able to offer places to all applicants from all local parishes and local families.

Visits to the School are welcome and a tour can be arranged by contacting the school office on 020 8977 6591.

A small school has many benefits for its pupils including:

    • A warm and caring environment with excellent teaching staff ensures that the children's transition into life at Sacred Heart is exceptionally smooth and quick
    • A teaching staff with a wealth of experience who put the pupils at the heart of all they do
    • Every child is visible with their varying needs met - socially, emotionally, academically and spiritually
    • KS1 and KS2 SATs results that are consistently well above National
    • Thriving on-site breakfast and after-school provisions
    • Dedicated, specialist staff ( Music, French, Thrive Practitioners, learning support)
    • Extensive outside space (playgrounds, field and MUGA)
    • An active and cohesive parent teacher body, which raises significant funds for our children, as well as many social events

We look forward to welcoming your child to Sacred Heart School and helping them realise their full potential.
