On behalf of the pupils, staff, parents and governors, I am delighted to welcome you to Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School’s website.
Our school is a small, caring and happy one where all the children and teachers know one another and where every child matters. We have high standards of academic achievement, with Key Stage figures consistently above both national. However, our school is about so much more than just results.

Personally, I would definitely say that one of the things Sacred Heart is great at is looking out and helping the individual pupil. The staff also are great influences on the children – everybody shows the school’s values.
Sacred Heart School goes above and beyond in addressing children's needs and nurturing their unique talents. Thanks to their exceptional, personalised approach and welcoming atmosphere, children are flourishing.
The teachers always paid attention to everyone's learning. For instance, some children and I would have a higher level of a certain subject taught to us.
The school is ready to help pupils whenever needed. They have different ways of boosting our learning, not just ordinary work and they try to find ways to make it fun.
When I joined this amazing school - Sacred Heart - I started in Year 3, I had no idea how to read or write. However, the teachers helped me achieve my goals by supporting me every step of the way.
I have learnt that I can do anything when I put my mind to it.
I have improved my ability and attitude towards my learning and towards making friends as I am quiet in nature. Now I have more confidence.
As Sacred Heart School itself is a small school, you know all the teachers and students, so when you walk into the corridor in the morning you always have a friendly face to greet you.
The strengths of Sacred Heart are how resilient the teachers and other support staff make us feel.
I have developed much better skills in all subjects and my achievements are playing for the football team and getting a main part in the production.
The school has introduced many more clubs and pupil groups for lots of people to join.
