On Wednesday, Year 6 were visited by Mrs Walker. Mrs Walker came in to talk to the class about her life and the life of her family during the second world war. The pupils learnt a huge amount about the impact the war had on families and were particularly engaged with the information shared about the lives of Mrs Walker's four brothers. One brother in particular, Mr Cyril Woodall, made a lasting impression. Below is a letter of thanks from the pupils to Mrs Walker and images from the visit.
